Nowadays, blogging has been a part of our daily activities. Gone were the days where we keep our scented pens and colored notebooks to write our daily experiences and our innermost thoughts. Thanks to world wide web, keeping a journal has been easier and more fun!
As far as I know, blogging started out as a simple keeping of journals vis-a-vis a computer. Then blogging introduced storing of photos and videos. Now the latest that came to the attention of blogging is earning while you blog!
Never thought it possible that we can earn while we enjoy the thing that we do - blogging. There has been many sites that promise income and a steady pay out while blogging. They didn't catch my attention. Simply because their mechanics are quite flawed. Those who claim to have earned through those sites are not available for further questions, they are real people I tell you and yet they are not available for more comments. They just ask you to click this and that and give them referrals. Seems bogus to me. That's my line of thinking until I came across a forum board which does not claim any thing but merely suggest to see it and try it out, no promises. And what was "it" that the forum suggests??
I told myself to keep an open mind, out the pessimism, and think about the possibility. The site www.blogsvertise.com seems genuine, my gut tells me so. I found myself signing a registration. Waiting for my confirmation email. I immediately clicked the link for confirmation, but alas, I have to wait for their approval!
But nah! I would still be wiling to wait. I feel good about it. It is seldom that my inner voice talks to me! I just hope that blogsvertise would be fastidious enough to grant me their approval so I can start. I promise to post whether this is just another bogus site.
Let's just wait and hope for the best!

Gotti's - An overview

At first, I thought this is just another wannabe Italian resto. The place is not big, just enough for more or less 30 people. The place is clean and the staff and crew are friendly.
When I first went there together with my niece and my older sister, we're just curious since Atrium is newly opened. We're fond of Italian food so we decided to check it out. We ordered Garlic Shrimp, Cream of Mushroom and a pizza (I forgot the name!).
Their pasta is served either regular meaning single serving (for slim people, two can share a plate) and to share (they say it's good for 2-3 persons but for gluttons like me, it's good for 1 person hehehe)
One thing I noticed is the distinguished taste of garlic in their pasta. All the spices blend well together. The garlic is not too strong as to cause itchiness to my throat (that's how I test if there's too much garlic in food). All the spices and flavorings complement one another. The noodles is al dente.
The cream of mushroom soup is delicious too. Not too creamy, not too thick, it's just right. You can't help yourself but finish it.
I can't say anything about the pizza, I was full already hehehe.
Gotti's became my favorite Italian resto. I brought my friends there and all of them give their thumbs up. In fact, they go back with their other friends and their family.
I have tasted almost all pasta and I assure you that all of them taste heavenly!! Those who know me can vouch that I have a very delicate palate. My taste is quite high hehehe. I have high standards with food being a glutton that I am hehehe. That's why my friends would try everything that I recommend to them bec, I would never recommend something which is not the best!
Oh and before I forget, the price in Gotti's is pocket and wallet friendly too. Their pasta ranges from Php135 - 275 (to share), pizza at Php240 - 320.
And don't forget to try their Caesare Salad, one of the best salad I have ever tried!!
Their service is good too. They will not pretend not to see that your glass is almost empty. Always ready to refill.
Need I say more, they even have merienda servings!!

When Time Stands Still
I have realized that peer pressure really gets in one's nerves. Society often dictates the norms and standards by which we should live our lives. Women within my age bracket are supposed to be married, happy or otherwise, and with kids. It seems people are curious as to my reasons of being single, not quite independent though. Although many women now are more career oriented, they accuse that career is just an alibi for one's miserable lovelife! That's true for some but for others, let's just say that they accomplish more with their career. My friends who are brave enough to ask would sometimes pry as to why I haven't settled yet.
If I am honest enough, which I am, I would admit that yes, there's something missing in my life. People who are tactless would tell me not to work hard (as if I can do that with the current financial mess that I'm in!) and give more time to my love life. They would quite rudely remind me that I'm getting old and my body clock is ticking!
Who would not want to be happy? Who would want to be alone? Not me. But do I have the power over things, over people? Some say that if you are luck in love, you don't have a career and vice versa. I'm greedy, I want both!!
People who don't know me would tell me not to set my standards too high, not to be too picky and soften up a little bit. My true friends know the real me. They would often tell me to use my head instead of my heart bec. the latter always make wrong decisions. I guess I am a magnet for the wrong guys. I have loved and given all that I can give but unfortunately, I haven't been that lucky.
My friends would often advice me to cry hard and then move on. I certainly want to move on. But is moving on a guarantee that I will be wiser? Am I spared from wasting my time with the wrong guy in a wrong relationship?
Where have all those years of trying to be good and an ideal girlfriend went? Letting go and moving on is easier said than done. I often wish that I could make the clock go back during the good times of my relationships. Why do relationships have to have a wonderful beginning and a painful end? Why can't I stay happy and wish that time would stand still.

So Bored!
Polet, my dear friend, told me that she's bored! With her active blog which is being read by many, I don't see why she can be bored! Unlike her, I can't maintain my blogs, nor upload my photos. I've been googling for blog host with unlimited photo and video storage but unfortunately I haven't found any. Mutliply is the best choice so far. So here I am, after telling myself that I won't be using multiply for blogging, about to start and wishing that I would be able to maintain and update my multiply account.
So far, I'm quite successful in uploading most of my photos in my cpu. I'm just too lazy to make some captions
Pray, that I will not be too lazy to keep this blog!

Oyster Boy Greenhills Nov. 7, 2008
From the time I realized that our 13th month pay would be given soon, I started making a wishlist (as usual!)
I texted my sister to meet me at Megamall since I was told that there's an ongoing sale at toy kingdom. Unfortunately, I didn't like the toys (my mind is elsewhere). We then decided to go to Greenhills shopping center. I thought the stalls are about to close but when I asked one of the sellers, she told me that they are actually about to start the bazarr and it's their moving in time. It was boring to shop since most of the stalls are not yet ready or still closed. We decided to have our dinner first before we continue our shopping. My niece, Janine, wanted to eat at Oyster Boy so there we went. Since we are starving, I ordered oyster w/ garlic and cheese, pork sinigang in sampaloc, pakbet, aligue rice, sizzling squid, lechon kawali and bottomless iced tea.
They served first oysters w/ garlic and rice as appetizers. We noticed that they oysters are smaller now, is this an effect of Asian economic crisis?? hehehe. The food were yummy! Their pakbet is still the best so far. Their sinigang taste well, not to sour, just right. Lechon kawali is not oily, the skin is still cruncy. Sizzling squid is not too spicy, I prefer the spicy one. I just hope their aligue rice would have more aligue, but the one we had was ok though.
Their service is really good this time. We don't have to call them to refill our drinks, they would come when they noticed that our glass is half full already.
All in all, I can say that I would still go back to Oyster Boy!

Here I go again!
Nothing to do, so bored! Just thought of doing something to amuse myself. I created my blog (for the nth time!) I hope I would be able to post regularly (which I think, is impossible!)
I just have to have some inspiration to set me in the mood to share what's happening in my so-called life.
